Why Jesus Apologetics is a Christian ministry committed to the defense of the gospel and the refutation of error. Our name asks the most important question anyone can face: Why Jesus? Our mission is to answer this question clearly, biblically, and intelligently for a world in desperate need of truth.

Why We Engage in Both Apologetics and Polemics

Some ministries focus solely on defending the faith (apologetics) while avoiding direct confrontation with false beliefs (polemics). At Why Jesus Apologetics, we believe both are essential.

A Biblical Analogy: Defense and Counterattack

In military strategy, defense alone is never sufficient. When a base is under attack, soldiers must do more than protect it—they must also engage and neutralize the threat, or the enemy will regroup and return. In spiritual warfare, the same principle applies. We are not called to spiritual passivity but to destroy strongholds (2 Corinthians 10:4).

Apologetics defends the faith from error. Polemics confronts the error itself.
